About these figures

Two different kinds of numbers appear on this page, and they are not interchangeable. The FY2025 adopted-budget figures come from the Budget Resolution the Board of Commissioners adopted on January 7, 2025 (GCID 2025-0040): they are the county's spending plan — the legal appropriations — for the fiscal year running January 1 to December 31, 2025.

The FY2024 ACFR figures are audited actuals for the fiscal year that ended December 31, 2024: what the General Fund held in reserve and what the county owed at that date, as reported in the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. A budgeted appropriation is a plan; a fund balance is a result. Nothing on this page comes from any source other than these two documents.
